Mad Science Summer Camps will begin June 1st

We will be following all OHA guidelines to ensure that campers and instructors remain safe. Below are some of the steps we will be taking to ensure camp safety.

Masks and gloves will be provided for all campers and instructors.

All camps will be restricted to stable groups of 10 campers or less.

All campers will be required to have their temperature checked during drop off. Campers with a temperature above 100.4 F will not be allowed to participate that day. Anyone with a fever in the previous 72 hours or with sick family members will not be allowed to participate.

All classrooms and bathroom facilities will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before, and between uses.

Campers will need to bring their own water bottles and snacks, and will not be allowed to share these with anyone during camp.

All camp equipment will be cleaned and sanitized before and after each use.

What is the difference between a Camp and a Non-School day class?

Our camp programs are available for full week registration, and are usually scheduled during a full week out of school such as Spring and Summer Breaks. Our Non-School day classes are available for single day registration, and are scheduled during any day when students are not in school.

Can I sign my child up for more than one camp or non-school day class?

Yes, in fact, we encourage it. Each program is completely different, so your child can enjoy them all without repeating activities!

Are there discounts for signing up more than one student and/or signing up for more than one camp or class?

Yes! These coupon codes can be applied for multiple students in the same program, as well as for a single student registered for more than one program. For Camps: Register for two or more and use coupon code: CAMP10 for 10% off each camp! For non-school day classes: Register for two or more and use coupon code: NSD5 for $5 off each class!

How do I register my child for multiple programs in the same order?

In order to register your child for multiple programs at a time, you must register them for one program, then leave your shopping cart to register them for the next program. Multiple registrations must be completed in the same order for the coupon codes to apply. Give us a call if you have any trouble. We're here to help!

What is your refund policy?

Our guarantee is simple. If your child attends the first day of camp and it does not meet their expectations, we will refund you in full. You MUST call us before the second day of camp to qualify. Cancelling your registration prior to the start of the program will result in a $25.00 processing fee.

Are you flexible on the age ranges of your camps?

Our camps are designed with students within the listed age range in mind. A student who is older than that range may find the camp too simple. A student who is younger may find themselves frustrated because they can't keep up with the rest of the class. If you feel your student would be an exception to this rule, please call for more information.

Who are the Mad Science camp instructors?

Mad Science instructors tend to be college students pursing an education or science degree, former/retired teachers, or teachers on summer break. All of our instructors have experience working with large groups of elementary-aged children and have undergone an extensive background check.

What is the child to instructor ratio?

The child to instructor ratio varies depending on enrollment. We always have at least one instructor for every 12-15 students.
